Welcome to Kzhol

Kzhol, or, as it’s known in the modern day, Kyol, is the name of many things. It is the name of the Kzhol River, one of the cradles of civilization, a place inhabited for so long that its name once literally meant “river”. It is the name for the Kzhol Allegiance, the triumvirate of city-states whose alliance became the dominant power in the Kzhol River region. It is the name of the First Kzhol Empire, the first of the world’s empires, whose reach extended from the northern river to the delta in the south.
