Worldbuilding
In addition to making music, I construct worlds. Worldbuilding is the art and science of non-narrative fiction: fleshing out a world in a detailed and immersive way. While I cover topics as broad as geography to those as specific as ethnomusicology, my main focus is on constructed language and constructed culture. I’m aiming to create something that is both thought-out and aesthetically pleasing.
My primary focus currently is on the First Kyol Alleigance - the grand empire of the procyonid-people that spans the northeastern swamps - its rise, its fall, and those who inherit its broken legacy.
Constructed Languages
One important part of this project is the creation of a fictional family of related constructed languages (“conlangs” for short): the Kyol-Odzhuaran languages. My main focus within this family so far has been the High Kzholtag language. If you’re into conlangs, or would like to be, I’ll be posting information about them in the coming months.
